Braided Lines

Premium Japanese braided lines represent the absolute pinnacle for all lure fishing techniques. Advanced braiding technologies provide the material with extreme breaking strength at a minimal diameter, perfect smoothness, and a significant increase in casting distance.

When choosing a line, the strand count and target technique play the main role. While thin 4-strand lines dominate in ultralight spinning and Trout Area for their excellent water-cutting ability, 8-strand and 9-strand models offer maximum smoothness and power reserve when fishing for large predators or deep-water jigging.

Saltwater Jigging and Heavy Casting

  • Varivas Avani Jigging 10x10 PE X9 300 m – a 9-strand line for vertical jigging with ultra-low stretch of around 3%. The alternating ten-color segments make it easy to precisely track depth in the water column.
  • Sunline Saltimate AMAZER PEx8 300 m – a special surface coating ensures the line cuts very quickly through the water column, allowing the jig to drop instantly to the desired depth.
  • Sunline Full Contact PEx8 300 m – a specifically stiffer profile developed for power casting of heavy lures. It fundamentally reduces the formation of wind knots in strong headwinds during offshore casting.

Tip: When choosing Japanese braided lines, focus primarily on the breaking strain rather than the stated diameter, as they tend to be significantly thinner than standard Western lines.
