Pre-Tied Assist Hooks

Assist hooks are essential equipment for jigging—from light and shore jigging to slow jigging in deeper waters. Compared to treble hooks, they snag less on the bottom and, thanks to the flexible cord connection, they come into contact with the fish more easily during a strike.

When choosing assist hooks, it is important to consider the number of hooks (single or twin) and the assist cord length. Single assists are often used as rear hooks or with smaller jigs, while twin assists increase the chance of converting a strike into a hook-up. Shorter assists work best with compact or tungsten jigs, while longer versions are better suited for larger jigs and cautious bites.
