DECOY DJ-80 Twin Pike Shorter is a shortened version of the proven assist hook DJ-88 Twin Pike, designed specifically for smaller and more compact jigs, including tungsten models. It retains the same strength, reliability, and balance of the Pike series, but thanks to the shorter assist cord, it greatly expands usability in situations where the standard length would be too long.
The compact design minimizes the risk of hooks tangling around the jig body, even when mounted on the rear eye. When combined with the longer Twin Pike version, it allows very precise fine-tuning of the rig according to jig type and retrieval style. DJ-80 is an excellent choice for light jigging from both shore and boat, especially when targeting sea bream, mackerel, smaller pelagic predators, and other saltwater species, where precision, control, and reliable hook-ups are key.
