DECOY DJ-89 Tachi Pike

DECOY DJ-89 Tachi Pike is a specialized assist hook designed for targeting sharp-toothed fish such as hairtail (tachiuo), mackerel, wahoo, and other marine predators capable of easily cutting standard assist cords. The core of this model is a stepped (offset) wire assist system, which significantly improves hook-up rates during the typical fast, biting strikes of these species.

The assist is built with a 49-strand SUS304 stainless steel wire, combining exceptional cut resistance with enough flexibility to avoid negatively affecting casting performance or bite detection. The use of the proven Pike AS-03 hook ensures fast and secure penetration, while the stepped configuration responds more effectively to short, aggressive attacks.
