Saltwater vibration lures

Saltwater vibration lures use vibrations and flashes of light to attract predators when lure fishing in the sea. They allow you to cover the water column and the area near the bottom with a steady retrieve or a lift-and-drop action.

The main considerations when choosing a lure are its profile and how it is worked. A metal baitfish imitation is suited to fast retrieves and fishing in current, while a shrimp-profile model can imitate prey moving along the bottom.

Metal baitfish and shrimp imitations

• Jackall CiAN Metal Vib – a slim metal lure for lure fishing from rocky shores that maintains its action even at very high retrieve speeds. The durable stainless steel plate withstands contact with the bottom, and the lure remains easy to control even in deep water and strong currents.
• Little Jack Ebinem – a sinking shrimp imitation with a silicone skirt and a Colorado spinner blade for hopping along the bottom and stirring up sediment. The flat belly weight stabilises the fall; removing the rear spinner blade and skirt allows the lure to be used for a purely vibrating presentation in the water column.
