Metal Lures
Metal lures are among the most versatile and reliable lure types for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. Their main advantages are instant feedback through the rod, the ability to work across a wide range of retrieve speeds, and high effectiveness even in demanding conditions such as current, wind, or heavy fishing pressure.
Thanks to different designs, metal lures can cover the entire water column—from subtle, slow presentations near the bottom to fast-paced searching just below the surface. They are an ideal choice when you need to locate fish, trigger reaction strikes, or present a simple yet highly effective lure.
Types of metal lures
- Spoons – subtle metal lures with a wobbling action, designed for precise and natural presentation. They excel at staying in the strike zone for a long time and are ideal for trout fishing, technical approaches, and situations where fish are highly selective.
- Tailspinners – compact, heavy lures with a rear-mounted spinning blade. They offer extreme casting distance, instant action, and high versatility when fished through the water column or near the bottom. Excellent for actively searching for perch, zander, pike, and asp.
- Spinners – classic lures with a rotating blade that produces strong vibrations and flashes. They work reliably in current and still water, at slow or faster retrieves, and are extremely effective for trout, perch, chub, and various saltwater species.
