The head shape is tuned specifically to each weight – lighter versions (1/4 and 3/8 oz) enhance a subtle rolling action at slower retrieves, while heavier models (1/2 and 5/8 oz) offer greater stability and hold depth more effectively. The extended collar shifts the center of gravity rearward, helping the jig maintain a natural, near-horizontal posture.
