Keitech Skirted Jigs

Keitech skirted jigs combine premium Decoy hooks, precision-cast jig heads, and a fine silicone skirt into a highly functional rig. The skirt strands increase the lure's silhouette, and their natural pulsing in the water provokes predators even during very slow retrieves.

When choosing a specific model, the head shape and line tie placement play the main role. Narrow heads with a top line tie excel during a steady retrieve through the water column, while wide versions with a shifted center of gravity are primarily designed for slow contact with a hard bottom and cover.

Available Types of Skirted Jigs

• Keitech Swing Swimmer – a swim jig with excellent stability for a steady retrieve through the column and vegetation. A special oval line tie keeps the knot perfectly aligned and ensures a straight tracking direction without rolling.
• Keitech Crankin' Football Jig – an original head with an inverted delta profile designed for slow probing of a hard bottom. It minimizes snagging in rocks and perfectly imitates the movement of crayfish and bottom-dwelling creatures.

Tip: An essential part of a skirted jig rig is the soft plastic add-on lure (trailer). For a Swim Swimmer, rig a paddle tail swimbait (e.g., FAT Swing Impact) onto the hook; for bottom fishing models, soft plastic crayfish and creature baits like the Crazy Flapper work exceptionally well.
