I bought this rod as a special rod for pike fishing on a larger river in length 275cm and weight 8-32g. After the first few casts I found it was more than a good decision. Combined with a Daiwa Caldia reel and VARIVAS Sea Bass line, it is an absolutely awesome setup that I recommend to both beginners and experienced anglers. This rod has several great features, namely casting accuracy, amazing sensitivity and last but not least it gives me the feeling of a really solid and quality rod. The icing on the cake is its design, which is absolutely unbeatable. Due to its characteristics and sensitivity, it is great for catching perch or asp. A truly versatile rod that, thanks to the quality materials used, will last for many years even with intensive use. During my first outings I caught both beautiful perch and asp with it, but especially zander, which took very carefully, but almost every shot was no problem to turn.

I bought the Hearty Rise Innovation IN-862M rod in length 259 cm and weight 4-21 g last season specifically for bigger bass and trout. I fished the entire 2018 season on the finer version of the Innovation IN-832MH (6 - 28g). I took the Innovation IN-832H (8 - 32g) to the Netherlands for the first time in the spring of 2019 and it has stayed with me ever since. The rod is a bit faster compared to the finer version and the extra "4g" are quite noticeable. With the heavier heads you cut through bigger fish more reliably and have more power in the rod. Since I've been fishing jig heads for the last year and a half mainly from 7.5g upwards (mostly 7.5 - 15g, but occasionally 20 or 25g), this harder model suits me perfectly. Of the lures I most often fish, the KEITECH Easy Shiner 4", 5" and FAT Swing Impact 3.8" and 4.8", in addition to the DUO Realis Vibration and DUO Realis Crank wobblers. Last season I managed to successfully land a pike 117 cm, a zander 90 cm and several larger catfish. The sensitivity of the two models is not significantly different. The Innovation has been great for me both for fishing from the shore and for fishing from the boat - the length of 253 cm is ideal because it does not get in the way on the boat and at the same time you can cast very far when fishing from the shore.

I started fishing the Innovation MH just before the end of 2017 and my first enthusiasm for the rod lasted me through the 2018 season. The rod is incredibly sensitive and has literally replaced all my rubber lure rods in the most common sizes I fish - these are jig heads 5 - 25 g with lures 7 - 12 cm. It's been great for both shore fishing and boat fishing - the 253cm length is ideal in that it doesn't get in the way on the boat and you can cast very far when fishing from shore. It is also perfect for fishing with the DUO Realis Vibration, DUO Realis Shad and DUO Realis Crank wobblers. On the other hand, it is not quite ideal for twitching wobblers and pops, where its length is a problem. This season I also managed 6 catfish on the rod - it handled two fish around 150 cm without a problem.
