DECOY ZF‑1 Zero‑Dan Flash Offset

DECOY ZF-1 Zero-Dan Flash Offset is a ready-made rig and an advanced version of the classic Zero-Dan system, additionally enhanced with a chatter blade. The design combines the advantages of falling rigs with aggressive attractants in the form of strong vibrations, distinct flashes, and a specific metallic sound. The base consists of a reliable offset hook, a sinker, and a blade, all integrated into one compact unit. Unlike regular chatterbaits, this setup does not tend to rise through the water column during the retrieve, which allows for much more effective bottom tracking.

The use of an offset hook ensures excellent snag resistance and minimizes the risk of getting hung up in cover. On the water, the setup works well with a classic steady retrieve (swimming) just above the bottom, but it is exceptionally effective with the lift & fall technique. During both the lift and the subsequent fall, the blade produces intense flashes and pressure waves. These strong stimuli deliberately trigger reaction strikes even from fish that would otherwise ignore a standardly presented soft plastic bait without vibrations.
