DECOY WA‑21 Wire Treble Assist

DECOY WA-21 Wire Treble Assist is a treble assist hook system designed to increase hook-up rates when targeting predators that often short-strike or bite cautiously. The design utilizes a Y-S21 treble hook attached via a flexible steel wire, which allows the lure to move naturally while providing an additional hooking point. This system helps turn even short or inaccurate strikes into a solid hook-up.

The wire is made of nylon-coated 3x7 steel wire strand, which is kink-resistant yet flexible enough during the fight. The connections are firmly secured using double crimping sleeves, and the rig is fitted with a DECOY split ring for easy attachment to a lure or jig head. The WA-21 can be used as a front or rear assist for jigging, as an auxiliary hook on jig heads, or as a stinger hook when fishing for sharp-toothed predators, such as pike, saltwater game fish, or other powerful predators.
