DAIICHISEIKO Knot Assist 2.0 is a technical tying tool for quick and easy tying of the FG knot when connecting a PE line to a leader. The body is made of a lightweight, non-corrosive carbon and glass fiber composite. The core of the design is an offset arm that keeps both lines under constant tension, and a clamping mechanism with a corrugated profile. After wrapping the line, simply press the lock and the soft rubber pads will ensure a firm grip without twisting the material. For transport, both arms simply fold down and lock by pulling the center loop.

When lure fishing, the tool significantly simplifies rig preparation right by the water. It allows trouble-free tying in strong winds and freezing conditions, and helps anglers even with stiff fingers or limited motor skills after injuries. Constant tension ensures even S-pattern weaving without loose loops and a smooth transition into finishing knots. The tool reliably clamps PE lines in Japanese sizes from PE #0.3 to #6 and leaders with a breaking strain of 3 to 70 lb.
